Food, food television and cooking is in a much different place than it was around 20 years ago, when “Hell’s Kitchen” came along. Smith, whose background is in producing sports, admits he was not a foodie when he started producing the show.

“Does that require thinking…..” hahahahahahahahaha I’m laughing. OMGOSH, thank you to both of you. I rewound the beginning about three times now because I didn’t get it at first. I was so confused, not that it is a foreign concept that the corporate world can make you forget how to be in the moment and enjoy even life’s simplicities of eating slowly and savoring meals, but I forgot that fact and forgot people out there don’t human. They machine. Ha! They need a quote unquote human like Mikhal to teach them how to do it again LOL. Genius Mikhal, genius. I liked her business model and the segue into food being the center of home in Israel.
